Sessions on outdoor natural grass pitches and an indoor sports hall — adapted to weather conditions.
Assessment Report
At the end of the trial evaluation, each player will receive an individual assessment report containing comprehensive information on their performance and evaluation throughout the trial period.
Player Fuel & Nutrition
- Hydration: Continuous water supply provided and distributed by staff on the pitch.
- Snacks: Players should bring their own light snacks (energy bars, fruit, light sandwiches) for break intervals and post-training recovery.
Health Information
Parents/guardians must inform technical staff of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or health concerns — through the registration form and directly to staff on the first day.
Booking Deposit
A 20% booking deposit is required when completing and submitting the registration form to secure the player's place at the trial.
Non-refundable deposit: In the event of withdrawal or cancellation by the player, the 20% booking deposit will not be refunded.
What Is Not Included
- Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses incurred by players during the trial week are not included in the trial fee.
- International Flights: For international players, flights from their country of origin to Portugal and the return journey from Portugal to their country of origin are not included.
- Additional Snacks & Food: Snacks and food outside the meals provided and specified in the trial programme are not included. Players are responsible for their own additional snacks and food.

Personal hygiene items: Toiletries and any other personal care products required for the duration of the stay.
Personal expenses: Money to cover personal expenses that are not included in the Winter Trial package.
Sports equipment: Any additional sports equipment or accessories players consider necessary for daily training, such as football boots, trainers, shin guards or other personal sporting items.
Once the payment has been completed, players must send the payment confirmation receipt to the email address indicated above.
The CIFA Elite team will then contact the player to provide further information, answer any questions and offer assistance throughout the admission process for the trial.
The report will cover the player's participation throughout the entire trial period, the different aspects assessed by the technical staff and the final evaluation results.
Our aim is to provide each player with clear, individual feedback on their performance and development throughout the Winter Trial.
We have a sports complex equipped with facilities for football training sessions, as well as our own accommodation, where players stay together throughout the trial period.
This allows us to provide an integrated environment combining sporting activities and accommodation during the players' stay with the academy.
